This is not really an about us page since it is really just me. Hi my name is Mark and I am the founder, creator, designer, engineer, marketeer, shipper, and face of AMRU Designs.

I have such a passion for firearms, I thought, I should join the Marines and be an small arms repairer. Little did I know that armorers spend much more time doing paperwork than actually repairing small arms. Even though the Marine Corps failed to teach me as much as I desired about firearms, I taught myself much about gunsmithing and the science behind firearms. After a couple trips overseas, I got out and took advantage of the GI Bill and got a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

Also with my passion for firearms I love practical shooting matches. I shot my first handgun and later 3 gun match in 2008. I would consider myself a semi-amateur competitive shooter. Over the years I have designed and built many firearms accessories for myself, whether with a mill, lathe, welder, 3D printer and even a sewing machine.

AMRU Designs came from this passion for firearms and a passion for finding solutions to interesting problems. I enjoy designing what I think is cool and hopefully products that you think are cool too.
